The Sapphire Ball
The Sapphire Ball is an annual highlight on the KidsCan calendar. The 2008 event was held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum on Wednesday the 7th of May. For the third year running, the Ball was being held in partnership with Warehouse Stationery and Ricoh.
The attendees joined special guests Claire Chitham, Carly Flynn, Grant Fox, Mikey Havoc, John Key MP, Shavaughn Ruakere, Miriama Smith, Kelly Swanson-Roe, Ali Williams and MC Eric Rush for a spectacular evening with a delicious three-course meal and great entertainment whilst helping to raise funds for the KidsCan ‘Raincoats for Kids’ programme.
$93,000 was raised to support this worthwhile programme which assists in meeting the basic needs of children who are not as fortunate as others, so they can reach their full potential.
