It’s hard to think when you’re hungry. 50,000 kids need our help

Teachers tell us many kids will miss the start of the school year — not because they aren’t eager to learn, but because their families can’t afford the basics like food, uniforms, shoes and stationery. Others arrive too hungry to learn. 

We help to remove some of these barriers by providing food, jackets and shoes to 1,100 school and early childhood centres nationwide. But many more children need our support. 

We need your help to provide 1,000 more kids with the essentials so they can start school on day one and succeed throughout the year.
