Play handball for kids who need a hand-up
This October, we’re challenging Kiwis to play as much handball (A.K.A four square) as you can, to raise money for kids who need a hand-up. Too many Kiwi kids arrive at school hungry, cold and unable to learn - if they make it at all.
With you on our team, we’re aiming to raise $1 million to support 10,000 children with food, solid shoes and a warm jacket. Help us level the playing field so every child can focus on learning.
KidsCan ambassador How to Dad (Jordan Watson) and Jono, Ben and Megan from The Hits’ radio station are leading the charge. They’re taking to the handball court again, aiming to play for an incredible 24-hours’ straight.
It’s a fun way to make a real difference to children who need our help.

"It's FREEZING here, and this morning I found a student sitting behind a classroom block wearing a thin short-sleeved polo top and a pair of shorts, with just a pair of jandals on his feet.
He said his mum couldn't afford shoes or a jersey. He's missing the very basics, and I'm worried about his mental health." - Social Worker
