Mobil launches new coffee cups to raise funds for KidsCan.

“We want to continue to support the amazing work KidsCan does”
“Mobil’s extensive network of service stations gives KidsCan a great opportunity to increase its reach across New Zealand”

Like us, our friends at Mobil are on a mission to create a better New Zealand for all Kiwi kids. That’s why since 2018 they’ve been a KidsCan Major Partner, helping us provide the basics to children affected by poverty so they can participate in learning.

In continued support of KidsCan, earlier this month Mobil launched a new coffee cup to raise even more funds for our tamariki in need. The co-branded coffee cups will be sold at participating Mobil service stations across the country, and for every coffee sold, Mobil will donate 10 cents to KidsCan. The funds raised will go directly into our programmes supporting children with the basics in over 800 schools and 100 early childhood centres throughout New Zealand.

Mobil Lead Country Manager Andrew McNaught says he is excited about the new initiative, which comes as they enter their fourth year of partnership with KidsCan.

“We want to continue to support the amazing work KidsCan does by providing them with the opportunity to increase the reach of their existing programmes through the additional income provided via Mobil’s coffee sales,” said Mr McNaught.

“Not only does this help an immensely worthy cause, it also helps our valued Mobil customers to make a purchase that tastes great, and does great things, so they can feel great about their purchase.”

KidsCan founder and CEO Julie Chapman says the new initiative will help build awareness of the work that KidsCan does and the ongoing need in our communities.

“In addition to their ongoing contribution over the last three years, Mobil’s extensive network of service stations gives KidsCan a great opportunity to increase its reach across New Zealand,” she said.

“We look forward to working alongside Mobil to bring about positive outcomes for less-advantaged children by ensuring they have all the basics to enable them to get into schools in a position to focus on learning.”

Thank you Mobil for your ongoing support!
