The need for KidsCan support is skyrocketing, with one in six kids living in hardship in New Zealand. We are seeing a steep increase in the need for our support and it's harder than ever before for us to reach the thousands of Kiwi kids who don't have the essentials.
- In the last year, we have supported nearly 1100 schools and ECEs.
- Sent out more than 6.2 million food items to help feed 60,000 kids every school day with nutritious breakfast, snack and lunch foods.
- Sent out over 67,000 jackets and over 57,000 pairs shoes.
- And over 67,000 basic health items because healthy kids are more present and able to learn. Learning gives them a pathway out of poverty.
