Each cracker contains a traditional paper hat and joke, as well as a prize voucher or an entry into the second chance draw.

Sure! We are based in Albany on the North Shore in Auckland, if you would like to collect your prize, please contact the Fundraising team fundraise@kidscan.org.nz to organise a pick up time. Don’t forget to bring your winning voucher as we cannot release your prize without this.

The last day for purchasing crackers is 27 December 2025. You have until the 31 January 2026 to claim your prize.

Winners have until midnight 31 January 2026 to claim their prizes, some prizes may have an earlier claim date, see winning prize voucher for details. Unfortunately, prizes claimed after the closing date cannot be redeemed.

We will dispatch prizes as quickly as possible outside of office closure dates.

If you have won a $20 The Coffee Club gift card, The Coffee Club will post this out to you in the beginning of February.

In short, no. A donation qualifies for a tax deduction as it is an unconditional gift. Where you receive something in return (i.e. the cracker), the amount paid no longer becomes a donation. The purchasing of a Christmas Cracker is the right to enter a chance of winning a prize and does not constitute a donation, therefore unfortunately does not qualify for a tax deduction.
