Giving back for a better start

    Thu, 11 Dec 2025

For Russell and Margaret, supporting children in need is simple. “If you’ve got money to leave, what are you going to do with it?”

Longtime supporters of KidsCan, the couple have chosen to leave part of their estate to charities close to their hearts – and KidsCan are humbled to be included in their will.

Seeing children struggle has always struck a chord. “We have been donating to KidsCan since 2014 and feel that now is the time to nominate them as one of the charities to benefit in our will. KidsCan do an incredible job providing children in 'struggle street' with some of the necessities of life, that most kids take for granted. This is our chance the play a part in this ongoing endeavour to make a difference to those not as fortunate as ourselves".

From their early days emigrating from England with three young children, to decades of sailing adventures, Russell and Margaret continue to live by the values of care and courage. Now, with their legacy, they’re ensuring that generosity will change future lives for years to come.
